Day 01 - Colombo

Meet and assist at Colombo International Airport (BIA) by our company representative and proceed to the hotel in Negombo. Overnight stay at the hotel in Colombo / Negombo.

Day 02 - Colombo / Sigiriya

After breakfast proceed to Dambulla. Dambulla Rock Temple is a magnificent Gallery of Buddha images and wall and ceiling paintings. It is a complex of five cave temples with its origin going back to the Anuradhapura period (1st century BC). However due to additions and restorations done by various rulers over the past two thousand years what now remains are mostly the works of the Kandyan period (18th century). Thereafter proceed to Sigiriya.
One of Asia’s major archaeological sites, Sigiriya presents a unique concentration of fifth-century urban planning, architecture, gardening, engineering, hydraulic technology and art. Sigiriya Lion Rock Citadel of Sri Lanka built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century A.D. It was the royal citadel of King Kasyapa for more than 18 years. Sigiriya has been named as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982.On completion proceed to Habarana. Overnight stay at the hotel in Habarana.

Day 03 - Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa

After breakfast proceed to Polonnaruwa. When early in the 11th century AD Anuradhapura suffered one of the worst of its many Indian invasions, Polonnaruwa became the next seat of rule. The city in its day was fortified with three concentric walls, beautified with parks and gardens and sanctified by many a shrine and sacred place. The city itself as well as the surrounding plain was watered by an irrigational network of man-made lakes and canals. One of the ancient reservoirs is so vast it was named Sea of Parakrama after the King Parakrambahu the great who built it.
Today, while the buildings are preserved ruins, ancient reservoirs are renovated and made to re-irrigate the agricultural district of Polonnaruwa and surrounding areas as in the glorious days of Polonnaruwa. On completion proceed to Minneriya.
Minneriya National Park affords the opportunity to sight herds of Elephants throughout the year. Wild elephants from the surrounding wilderness, makes their way to the shores of the Minneriya Reservoir adjoining the Minneriya National Park in search of food and water. Huge herd of elephants, sometimes numbering up to 300, converge together within a few square kilometres of the lake. This Elephant Gathering is a thrilling spectacle that would be remembered for rest of the life of all those who were fortunate to witness it. After a thrilling safari at Minneriya return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Habarana.

Day 04 - Polonnaruwa / Kandy

After breakfast proceed to Kandy via Matale. Visit a spice garden in Matale to see many different types of spices Sri Lanka is famous for. Just 25 km from the hill capital of Kandy, the Matale spice gardens are among the best on the island. You will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed. Continue to Kandy.
Kandy, a world heritage site is home to numerous Buddhist temples including the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic. Set in a valley surrounded by rings of mountains, the city of Kandy is the gateway to the Salubrious hill country of Sri Lanka. In the evening enjoy a cultural show of traditional dances. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kandy.

Day 05 - Kandy

After breakfast proceed to Pinnawala. Pinnawala which is about one hour away from the Kandy town, is one of the largest elephant orphanages where they rear Elephants that were lost to their herds by human-elephant conflict and by falling into pits. Most of them are baby elephants. The elephants are fed at the orphanage and bathed in the nearby river twice a day, which will be an unforgettable experience for you.
Thereafter proceed to Peradeniya. Royal botanical garden of Peradeniya is well known for its large number and variety of plants, ornamental, decorative, useful & medicinal. More than 4000 species include indigenous and introduced plants. This garden is best known for its collection of orchids, the largest in Asia. On completion return to Kandy. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kandy.

Day 06 - Bentota

After breakfast proceed to South West coast of the country, where your Ayurveda health resort is located. Sri Lanka, an island floating in the blue waters of the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal. Endowed with over a thousand miles of beautiful beaches fringed with coconut palms. Overnights stay at the Hotel.

Day 07 to 11 - Bentota

Unwind and relax at your Health Resort, beautifully situated amidst tropical gardens along the scenic southern coastal belt of Sri Lanka, facing the sparkling blue waters of the Indian Ocean.
Ayurveda package as mentioned below. (Vehicle will not be available from Day 07 – Day 11). Overnights stay at the Ayurveda Hotel.

Day 12 - Airport

Leave Colombo on time to the airport for your flight.
